We have used them on everything from water to pizza grease and they have worked great.Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17636815623558510132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19049283.post-32808180310639580842009-07-15T16:47:00.000-07:002009-07-15T16:47:40.949-07:00Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17636815623558510132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19049283.post-51098850486865503062009-06-20T18:57:00.000-07:002009-06-20T19:00:28.593-07:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/Sj2T6MDl5ZI/AAAAAAAAAR4/amIROfQxVTs/s320/beach+and+6-20+033.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349594560264005010" />
The garden as of today! everything is still alive and growing well.
The squash that is in the compost heap- we are going to be over whelmed with squash if i dont watch out
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/Sj2UJ-1vgZI/AAAAAAAAASA/r8j3N5mWXtI/s320/beach+and+6-20+019.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349594831594160530" />Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17636815623558510132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19049283.post-23423303551711389922009-06-04T22:12:00.000-07:002009-06-04T22:16:55.774-07:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/SiiqD7mMnoI/AAAAAAAAARY/7KXo8InVt_0/s320/garden+005.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343707942389325442" />
as of 6/2
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/SiipkT50FeI/AAAAAAAAARQ/ZD3grWhzS04/s320/garden+001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343707399158240738" />
my squash as of 6/2, it has a bloom on it nowSallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17636815623558510132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19049283.post-19529242800993319682009-04-22T21:47:00.000-07:002009-04-22T22:01:57.012-07:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/Se_0QwcUcZI/AAAAAAAAAPw/OU-uC2XEdb8/s320/garden.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5327745452921352594" />
(click to see labels) So here is my garden today. Its doing pretty good. My mom planted pumpkins last year and the seeds got everywhere and so they keep popping up so I really have to keep after them but things are looking pretty good other then that.

I have silk worms at work, majorly creepy! a lot of them are cocooned now so that does help, they went through so many leaves, I was worried I would run out at times.

A while ago Carly and I went to Cal Poly Pomona and picked a ton of strawberries, well I froze some and then like 3 weeks ago I made strawberry freezer jam- 9 1/2 pint jars. It was soooooo good,I gave 5 jars away and we went through the other 4 in no time. I think I may need to make more. I did use one jar to make a white cake with jam filling with a lemon glaze on it-yummmm!Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17636815623558510132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19049283.post-66146182179309533422009-03-29T21:24:00.000-07:002009-03-29T21:47:27.309-07:00My garden on March 28th
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/SdBMaOjuzBI/AAAAAAAAAO4/BrIKM9zSYd0/s320/gkjh.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318835173392829458" />
it has labels if you click it

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/SdBJ8OAciUI/AAAAAAAAAOw/xeg-BWHmxas/s320/Spring+045.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318832458825500994" />

Molly had me make earthhour tie dye shirts
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/SdBOEQxAP6I/AAAAAAAAAPI/xwxFtSaATtY/s320/Spring+038.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318836995051503522" />

Molly during earthhour.
She made salsa, i cooked corn in the fire. I am working on a Prayer Shawl for my class- its out of the neatist Inca cotton I got at The Yarn Deli. Its a cream color and oh so soft and comfy. I got some more of the single ply yarn I used to make Kates hat to make some more ear flap hats, I think Carly and Molly would like them so that is on my list of things I want to work on. I have been wanting to work on my paper beads some more so i have started cutting them out and will work on them this weekend. They go together pretty fast so we shall see. I would love to sell them on esty, either just the beads or made into necklaces and such.Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17636815623558510132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19049283.post-44996376907846247942007-12-07T13:13:00.000-08:002007-12-07T14:20:52.397-08:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yUVwJAJorZ8/R1m37qRAdlI/AAAAAAAAAFs/ewP8AmsJ8V8/s320/IMG_2209.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5141342685205919314" />

Those are the sequined balls that my mom and I have been working on for 2 Christmases now.
